PHAROAH’S FURY - This giant Egyptian themed pirate ship stands over 50 feet in the air and swings riders up to the 50 mph in forwards and backwards motions.
HIMALAYA - Experience exciting big ride action at a speed that thrills everyone. Hang on as the Himalaya ride accelerates backwards and forwards at 11.5 RPM.

THINGS FAIRGOERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT NORTH AMERICAN MIDWAY ENTERTAINMENT
1. The number of ride inspections performed during the Illinois State Fair is 637. Every ride is inspected by the State of Illinois, NAME Certified Safety Officials, a third party inspection firm and NAME Certified Ride Operators. In addition every ride is inspected every single day prior to opening.
2. North American Midway Entertainment has 18 certified NAARSO (National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials) employed on staff in 2011. This is substantially more than any other traveling or permanent amusement park in the world.
3. Each employee receives a minimum of 56 hours of safety and customer service training on our midway each year. Safety is our number one priority.
4. North American Midway has presented the midway at the Illinois State Fair for 19 consecutive years.
