The Illinois State Fair features countless different Illinois products. Staying true to this year’s theme,
Growing Illinois, each week we will feature an Illinois product you'll find at the 2015 fair.
This week we would like to focus on the Illinois Beekeepers Association. The Illinois State Beekeepers Association (ISBA) was founded in 1981. Over the past 124 years the ISBA has developed a strong working relationship with local beekeeping associations and with the Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA). During the fair they can be found in the Illinois Building and members of the association will be selling a wide variety of honey products. BEE sure to stop by and try some honey ice cream!
